Pimchanok was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in January. The surgeon at Phuket General Hospital recommended septoplasty, and She is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,500, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,750 short. my daughter has been in and out of Phuket General Hospital since January. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,500 is more than we can find. While we wait, Pimchanok struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there. The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Pimchanok won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
