Stop the eviction: 4 months of rent for Isaiah's family in Bristol
After a car accident, Isaiah is 4 months behind on rent and has a termination letter from the landlord.

After a sudden layoff at the warehouse, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $3,700.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by September, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $3,700 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $680
• Late fees and court costs: $350
• Rent arrears (4 months): $2,670
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless.
Hang in there. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
Keep going, Isaiah. Your post was clear and honest. Put this on a community board in Cairo this morning.
Thinking of you and your family. This could happen to any of us!
Wishing you peace, Isaiah. Looking forward to the next update
