Electricity and water shut-off notice: help Emilio pay $150
Emilio is behind on electricity and water bills after losing my job in December and needs $150 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on March unless I pay $150. I have never been late before losing my job in December.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which I don't have.
I live with a newborn, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $150 goes:
• Heating arrears: $70
• Reconnection and late fees: $40
• Down payment on a payment plan: $40
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

So sorry you're going through this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 15 years in logistics I know how hard it is to ask for anything. All the best.
everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Lahore donated after I showed her your page.
Hope it all works out. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Ciudad de México so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Ciudad de México
Thanks for sharing this, Emilio. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. All the best.
