Stop the eviction: 4 months of rent for Fernanda's family in Rio de Janeiro

Following a long illness in the family, Fernanda fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Friday a final eviction notice was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $1,350. The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, the family must leave. There are 3 children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else. Fernanda has started working evenings as a cleaner, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
