Let's build a community fridge together in Quezon City
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community fridge - we need $500 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $155, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 302 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $340
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Safety equipment and signage: $80
• Tools hire and delivery: $25
