Start-up fund for Harish: reopening a phone repair counter after a long illness and repossession
A phone repair counter in Lucknow needs help replacing a soldering station and testing tools after a long illness and repossession.

For nine years I have run a phone repair counter in Lucknow. In May, a long illness and repossession took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $150 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $30
• Working capital for the first month: $80
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $40
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
Updates from Harish
Update from Lucknow: we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. We're at 73% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
23% there. I made the first payment toward working capital for the first month. Thank you.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 13% funded and I made the first payment toward initial stock: replacement parts.

Stay strong. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust
Keep going, Harish. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Bandung so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Lucknow.
Sending good thoughts, Harish. This could happen to any of us.
