A youth football pitch for the Maple community hall: help our neighbors in Karlsruhe
Volunteers in Karlsruhe are raising $1,800 for a youth football pitch at the Maple community hall.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Maple community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $1,800.
It will serve about 585 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Materials: $770
• Permits and inspections: $185
• Safety equipment and signage: $450
• Tools hire and delivery: $395
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Sending good thoughts. Shared it with a few friends!
Wishing you the best, Ben. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. God bless
Wishing you the best. Hope you get there. Greetings from Uppsala
Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. After 12 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Wishing you the best, Ben. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Kasarani.
