Nazrul was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in January. The oncology team at Dhaka Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Nazrul is 56, worked as a farmer until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dhaka Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $700 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $90 • Transport to Dhaka Cancer Centre: $120 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $490 Glad we found this place.

          • Rooting for you, Rubel. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
