School supplies and a laptop for Henry in Jacksonville
Henry won a place at Jacksonville Technical College but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
Anywhere in the world1,215 views
I earned a place in the first year of senior school at Jacksonville Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $750, which is more than we have.
I love graphic design and want to become a marine biologist. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $750 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $50
• School uniform and shoes: $125
• Laptop: $575
If you're reading this, thank you.

Thinking of you and your family. Study hard! This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
rooting for you, Henry. Good luck with the exams, you've got this
Rooting for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Accra this morning.
Praying for you, Henry. I hope things turn around soon. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
