Help Wafula patch the roof before winter
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Kisumu?

I'm a home-care aide living in Kisumu. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $720, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Glad we found this place.

Hang in there. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
looking forward to the next update. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care!
