Daisy is my three-legged dog of thirteen years. On 27 December we rushed to Madurai Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $200. They have stabilized Daisy, but the treatment can't wait beyond February. Daisy is more than a pet - Daisy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Madurai Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $200 goes: • Hospitalization (4 nights): $70 • Emergency surgery: $115 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $15 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Updates from Vihaan

  1. Wanted to say thank you properly. 20% funded and the plan for diagnostics is now scheduled.

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($40 in total) the plan for emergency surgery is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. Quick update: $25 raised so far (13%). the plan for hospitalization is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
