Okta's prostate cancer treatment fund

Okta was diagnosed with prostate cancer in July. The oncology team at Makassar Cancer Centre has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks. Okta is 51, worked as a tailor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Makassar Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
