Arief was diagnosed with cervical cancer in October. The oncology team at Depok Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in February. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Arief is 54, worked as a bakery worker until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Depok Cancer Centre 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,300 goes: • Scans and lab work: $260 • Transport to Depok Cancer Centre: $155 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $560 • Household costs while unable to work: $325 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  1. Thank you all. We're at 11% now ($148). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward household costs while unable to work.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 2% now ($30). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the treatment center and confirmed the amounts.
