Joyce's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Help Joyce begin Year 10 with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇰🇪 Kenya467 views
I earned a place in Year 10 at Kisumu Technical College, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $50, which is more than we have.
I love coding and want to become a marine biologist. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $50 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $10
• School uniform and shoes: $30
• Textbooks and workbooks: $10
If you're reading this, thank you.

as a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Greetings from Madrid.
Thinking of you, Joyce. Your post was clear and honest. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care
