Save Buddy: Thilini can't afford the emergency vet
A cat named Buddy needs orthopedic surgery - a $500 bill the family can't cover.
🇱🇰 Negombo, Western, Sri Lanka936 views
Buddy is my cat of six years. On 9 June we rushed to Negombo Veterinary Centre with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $500.
They have stabilized Buddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Buddy is more than a pet - Buddy got me through my hardest year. I have already put $20 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Negombo Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $270
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $110
• Medication and follow-up visits: $55
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $65
With deep gratitude,
Thilini

is there anything that isn't money that would help Thilini?
Thank you. If you're in Negombo I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. I'll keep the page updated.
Hope things get better soon. Poor Buddy, hope they feel better soon. All the best
Keep going, Thilini. Hope you get there.
Best of luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings.
