Help Ubol get through 3 hard months with three children under 6
A single parent in Bangkok needs help with childcare, groceries and rent while Ubol retrains.

Last April I went through the death of my husband, and I'm now raising three children under 6 on my own. I work as a driver, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a bookkeeper in the evenings, which will triple my income by July, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Money goes toward rent, groceries, after-school care and the cost of my course. I'll give a monthly update with receipts.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Rent top-up: $480
• Childcare and after-school care: $230
• Groceries and school meals: $300
• Course fees and exam costs: $140

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Ubol
Sure. The biggest one is rent top-up, $480. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. It helps to be asked.

Thanks for sharing this, Ubol. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. After 15 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Ottawa.
