Prakash needs a lift to Lalitpur Regional Medical Center - can you help one day a week?
Prakash needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Prakash has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to Lalitpur Regional Medical Center alone. After surgery on their hand, Prakash can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 28 km each way.
Prakash is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
- effort
- one weekly trip
- format
- In person in Lalitpur

This could happen to any of us. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Laval.
Sending strength. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Alcalá de Henares.
Hope it all works out. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings
Keep going, Nisha. I hope things turn around soon. Blessings.
Hope things get better soon, Nisha. Wishing Prakash a smooth procedure and a full recovery. We're a small family in Narayanganj but we're thinking of you.
Wishing you peace, Nisha. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care
