Help Cristian keep the Bread & Beans Kitchen pantry stocked
The Bread & Beans Kitchen pantry in San Jose is running low just as demand rises; $3,350 will stock it for 6 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Monday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 27 families, and now we feed 310 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 45% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 10 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the San Jose market and keep every receipt.
Each $30 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $3,350 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,550
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,000
• Baby formula and diapers: $640
• Refrigeration and electricity: $160
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
