Fighting prostate cancer: help Caio afford treatment in São Paulo
Caio is facing prostate cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Caio was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January. The oncology team at the São Paulo Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Caio is 28, worked as a hairdresser until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the São Paulo Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.

• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $160
• Transport to the São Paulo Oncology Institute: $290
• Scans and lab work: $200
