Parker needs a lift to the London Dialysis Unit - can you help one day a week?

A rota of drivers to the London Dialysis Unit would keep Parker on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Parker has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to the London Dialysis Unit alone. After a foot amputation, Parker can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 13 km each way. Parker is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Glad we found this place.
