Sofia's final semester of an agriculture degree in Stockholm
A first-generation student, Sofia needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an agriculture degree.

Sofia is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at the Stockholm Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,550.
The registrar has said Sofia can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Sofia has a top-ten-percent average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Sofia would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Sofia isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

• Exam and lab fees: $250
• Textbooks and materials: $150
