Weekly meals for students and shift workers in Rajshahi
The Bread & Beans Kitchen pantry in Rajshahi is running low just as demand rises; $350 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Wednesday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 18 families, and now we feed 314 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 31% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 19 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Rajshahi market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $350 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $150
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $115
• Baby formula and diapers: $85
