I coordinate donations at Pioneer Refugee Centre in Birmingham. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Birmingham, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Pioneer Refugee Centre on Wednesday between 9am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Pioneer Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hope it all works out, Everett. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I hope February is when things finally get easier. All the best.
Best of luck, Everett. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Take care.
Good luck, Everett. Your post was clear and honest. My husband and I read this together. Love from Timișoara
everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Badagry donated after I showed her your page. Love from Badagry.
Good luck, Everett. Hope you get there. After 10 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
