Oluwaseun is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at Badagry Community College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650.
The registrar has said Oluwaseun can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Oluwaseun has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Oluwaseun would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Oluwaseun isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $650 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $25
• Outstanding tuition balance: $470
• Final term tuition: $155
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
