I'm caring for my mother, who's 84. After a stroke last August Ananya can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Ananya desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Ananya worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $250 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $70
• Medication and prescriptions: $90
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $90

Thank you all. We're at 60% now ($150). I'm honestly stunned. the first invoice got paid this week.
Quick update: $100 raised so far (40%). the plan for hospital bed and mattress rental is now scheduled. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
