She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,700. The registrar has said Jéssica can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Jéssica has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Jéssica would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Jéssica isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the São Paulo Community College bursar's office.
