My pickup: Priscilla's only way to earn a living
Without my pickup Priscilla cannot work; a $250 repair would put her back on the road.

I make my living with my pickup. 7 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $250 goes:
• rear axle replacement (parts): $200
• Labor charges: $45
• Towing and inspection: $5
Thank you for reading my story.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Priscilla?
Thank you. If you're in Obuasi I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Happy to explain more.
Best of luck, Priscilla. Looking forward to the next update. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
