I'm caring for my mother, who's 91. After a heart attack Romane can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Romane desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Romane worked all of her life as a carpenter, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.

Wishing you peace, Quentin. Wishing Romane a smooth procedure and a full recovery. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Romane!
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. medication and prescriptions is the biggest at $460. It helps to be asked.
Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I have a 6 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings.
