Moving day volunteers: Seyi's family relocating in Wudil
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Wudil.
🇳🇬 Wudil, Kano, Nigeria1,307 views
After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Wudil, and the lease starts on Saturday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about six hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thank you for reading my story.
