Njeri needs laparoscopic endometriosis surgery at Entebbe University Hospital and the family is $1,100 short of the hospital's estimate.

Njeri was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in July. The surgeon at Entebbe University Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,200, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $1,100 short.
my mother has been in and out of Entebbe University Hospital since July. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,200 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Njeri struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 5 weeks. During that time Njeri won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Njeri.
Hospital stay (2 nights) is $420 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Fair thing to want to know.
