Clear storm damage from Travis's garden in San Francisco
Garden rescue day in San Francisco: bring gloves and a rake.
🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States495 views
I'm 82 and I have lived in this house in San Francisco for 39 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

So sorry you're going through this, Travis. Your post was clear and honest. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
