Keep the electricity and water on at Terry's home in Durham

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $700. I have never been late before a reduction in hours. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $170 first, which I don't have. I live with three children under ten, and going through the cold months without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Terry's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
