Veteran in need: Vaishali's next mission is stability
Vaishali served ten years in the infantry; $500 would cover a vocational welding course and tools.

I served ten years in the infantry and was discharged in 2023 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $500.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $500 goes:
• Training provider fees: $350
• Essential household items: $90
• Transport to appointments: $60
Thank you so much.
