My son, Robert, is 17 and in Grade 11. Robert loves school but accounting has been a struggle since the school was closed during the move. The GCSE exam is in May. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Warsaw or online, for about twelve weeks. Robert is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in accounting, you could change the course of Robert's year. Thank you for reading my story.

  • Keep going, Renata. I hope things turn around soon. After 28 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything.

    • hang in there, Renata. Gave what I could, wish it was more.

      • Sending love, Renata. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.

          • Sending love. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.

            • Wishing you the best. I hope things turn around soon. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless

              • Wishing you the best, Renata. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best

                • Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Indore donated after I showed her your page
