In February an inspector told me that my home has a leaking gas line. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $410 are beyond us. I'm looking for a licensed electrician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $35. The job should take about four hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request. If you're an electrician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

        • Rooting for you. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I went through something like this 5 years ago and strangers helped me out

          • Thinking of you and your family, Clément. Looking forward to the next update. Put this on a community board in Surabaya this morning.

            • Rooting for you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
