Home care fund for Titilayo in Abuja
Titilayo can't afford the care She needs after a stroke last July; we're asking for $600.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 86. After a stroke last July Titilayo can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Titilayo desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Titilayo worked all of her life as a bus driver, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $600 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $40
• Medication and prescriptions: $90
• Part-time carer (eight months): $470
Glad we found this place.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Titilayo.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. hospital bed and mattress rental comes first ($40) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. It helps to be asked.
Sending strength. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Thinking of Abuja.
