Help Zelalem finish an accounting degree at the Adama Institute of Technology - $200 to go
A first-generation student, Zelalem needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an accounting degree.

Zelalem is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at the Adama Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $200.
The registrar has said Zelalem can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Zelalem has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Zelalem would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Zelalem isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $200 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $40
• Textbooks and materials: $20
• Outstanding tuition balance: $140

So sorry you're going through this. Shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Oakland so I could bring a meal. Love from Thủ Đức
How is Zelalem doing now?
keep going, Meseret. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Oakland so I could bring a meal. All the best.
Study hard! Sent it to 11 people at work. Greetings from Amsterdam.

Sending love, Meseret. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care
