Help Viviane pay for cataract surgery at Guarulhos University Hospital
A scheduled cataract surgery in July is out of reach without help covering $1,750 of the cost.

Viviane was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in May. The surgeon at Guarulhos University Hospital recommended cataract surgery, and She is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,200, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $1,750 short.
my sister has been in and out of Guarulhos University Hospital since May. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without cataract surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,200 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Viviane struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Viviane won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
