Help Siyabonga lay Annelie to rest with dignity in Johannesburg
After the sudden passing of Annelie, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.
🇿🇦 Gauteng, South Africa1,380 views
Annelie, my grandmother, passed away on 6 September after a long fight with kidney disease. She was 88 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,050 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 21 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Annelie to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Johannesburg hospice.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Memorial gathering for the family: $90
• Funeral home services and casket: $890
• Transport of the deceased: $70
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Siyabonga.
It's all in the list in the story. memorial gathering for the family is the big one at $90, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Happy to explain more.
hope it all works out, Siyabonga. Shared it with a few friends.
