A covered market stall space for Maple Park: help our neighbors in Malmö
A community-led a covered market stall space at Maple Park that will serve 321 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Park, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $320, and the remaining cost is $2,800.
It will serve about 321 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Materials: $2,000
• Safety equipment and signage: $280
• Tools hire and delivery: $520
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
