Don't let Shahid's family go through winter without electricity and water
A disconnection notice for electricity and water arrived and Shahid needs $100 before September.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless I pay $100. I have never been late before losing my job in July.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $100 goes:
• Utility arrears: $65
• Reconnection and late fees: $15
• Down payment on a payment plan: $20
