Robel has worked and saved for three years to study a computer science degree; a $455 gap now stands between him and graduation.

Robel is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a computer science degree at the Hawassa Institute of Technology, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $455.
The registrar has said Robel can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Robel has a distinction average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Robel would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Robel isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Hawassa Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $455 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $220
• Final term tuition: $185
• Exam and lab fees: $45
• Textbooks and materials: $5

Rooting for you, Netsanet. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We're a small family in Tampa but we're thinking of you
study hard! It's not much but it's yours. Love from Gangnam.
this could happen to any of us. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Hawassa
Sending good thoughts, Netsanet. I hope things turn around soon. Sent it to 18 people at work. Thinking of Hawassa.

Thinking of you and your family, Netsanet. Study hard! Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
thanks for sharing this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Hawassa.
sending good thoughts, Netsanet. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care.
Thanks for sharing this, Netsanet. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. After 29 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best
