Help Shawn restart a roadside café in Fresno after a storm that collapsed the roof
A roadside café in Fresno needs help replacing an espresso machine and grinder after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For twelve years I have run a roadside café in Fresno. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,850 goes:
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $2,550
• Shop repairs and licensing: $520
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $780
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

You're not alone, Shawn. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care
Hope you make a strong comeback. Thinking of Fresno.
Stay strong, Shawn. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care
Hang in there, Shawn. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Take care
take care, Shawn. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. All the best.
Sending love, Shawn. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in St. Petersburg donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from St. Petersburg
