Emergency vet bill for Maple in Bengaluru
Maple, Vaibhav's three-legged dog, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $400.

Maple is my three-legged dog of two years. On 12 December we rushed to Bengaluru Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Maple, but the treatment can't wait beyond March.
Maple is more than a pet - Maple walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Bengaluru Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.

• Emergency surgery: $190
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $110
• Medication and follow-up visits: $45
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $55
