Marisa is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at Parma University, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,600.
The registrar has said Marisa can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Marisa has a first-class average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Marisa would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Marisa isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Parma University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
