Farewell fund for Mauricio: help Silvia's family in Ciudad de México
After the sudden passing of Mauricio, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Mauricio, my husband, passed away on 5 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 28 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,700 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 21 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Mauricio to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $950
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $530
• Transport of the deceased: $100
• Memorial gathering for the family: $120
