Build a wheelchair ramp for Aiden in London
Aiden uses a wheelchair and cannot leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.
🇬🇧 England, United Kingdom1,054 views
Aiden has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Aiden can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Aiden's family will cook lunch for the team.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Stay strong, Naomi. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Medan
Shared this with my family. Greetings from Kozhikode
Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Love from Alcalá de Henares.
Praying for you, Naomi. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Thinking of you. Wishing Aiden a smooth procedure and a full recovery. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Take care.
