Franziska's my delivery van is Franziska's only source of income and needs an engine head gasket replacement costing $950.

I make my living with my delivery van. 10 weeks ago the engine head gasket failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $950. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $950 goes:
• engine head gasket replacement (parts): $360
• Labor charges: $290
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $180
• Towing and inspection: $120
Thank you so much.

How is Franziska doing now?
Thanks for sharing this, Franziska. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Córdoba.
Thanks for sharing this, Franziska. Hope the shop reopens soon!
so sorry you're going through this, Franziska. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
