Help Grace get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
Grace served fourteen years in the army; $2,850 would cover a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served fourteen years in the army and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $2,850.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Essential household items: $320
• Transport to appointments: $510
• Housing deposit and first month: $2,020
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
