Ignacio was diagnosed with colon cancer in February. The oncology team at Veracruz Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Ignacio is 47, worked as a primary school teacher until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Veracruz Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
